SUBMISSION & PUBLICATION
All submitted 2-pages extended abstracts will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, research content, correctness, relevance to the topics, and readability. The accepted extended abstract will be published in the proceeding with e-ISBN, which will be indexed in Google Scholar. In addition, the proceedings will also be submitted to Clarivate Analytics (formerly known as Thomson Reuters-ISI) Conference Proceedings Citation Index™ (CPCI) for indexing consideration in Web of Science® coverage.
The authors with accepted extended abstracts are encouraged to submit their optional full-length paper for possible publication in our supporting journal indexed in WoS-ISI/Scopus at no additional charges. Papers submitted will go through the normal peer review and appear in a special issue as they are accepted and ready for publication.

Extended Abstract Submission - CLOSED
The extended abstract should be written in English, including figures, tables and references. The abstracts should be 2-pages in length and must be submitted in Microsoft Word (docx only) format through our online submission system by 28 February 2018. A Microsoft Word template and example of typesetting document are available to help in the preparation of abstracts:

*Declaration: All authors should aware that the 2-pages extended abstract will be rejected without any further consideration if it is found there is an in-compliance with the MERD'18 typesetting format (including references).
Presentation Type
All authors with accepted extended abstracts are required to present their research findings through POSTER presentation. The best quality posters will be awarded for "BEST POSTER AWARD" during presentation day. Guidelines for poster presentation:

Full-Length Paper Submission (Optional) - CLOSED
Accepted papers will be appeared in a Special Issue on "Synergistic Approach in IR4.0 For Product Technology Development" at no additional charges. This special issue will be published in International Journal of Materials and Product Technology (IJMPT) indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (Clarivate Analytics) with IF=0.365. The guest editor is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Fadzli Bin Abdollah.
